There really isn't one greatest military hardware out there. Each of the suggestions have pros and cons. It's also hard to chose the best all round military hardware. As there are so many roles in the war ground, that not one hardware is suited to it all. You really have to state what role and what type of battlefield your chosen military hardware should be used for.

e.g Open desert battlefield i would use a Challenger 2 tank. It has the best chance of seeing the enemy and already has a longest kill by any tank.
