hehe that and the volcano level daredevil run i have pretty much given up on... i want to get the 120 but those 2 seem impossible!
Yeh that was the last star I had to get. Took me about 2 hours the other night. Thats what makes the game so amazing though because you get a great sense of achievement after finally completing it. The amount of times I just kept getting caught by simple things was ridiculous. I found myself rushing through the early parts of the level and constantly getting caught by something stupid.
Just got 120 stars and still didn't find any of it hard tbh, although that's not a bad thing

Did you find the game a bit repetitive? Maybe im just getting old.
Some of the levels were tedious but on the whole I found it quite varied.

I did enjoy Mario sunshine when I had the GC. Might invest in a wii after xmas to play mario galaxy!
Finally got my hands on this yesterday, was going to buy it for myself on release, but the family wanted an idea for a christmas present.
Only 10 stars in, but it's been well worth the wait
Took me about 1/2 hour to get used to it, running around upside down, inside out, twisiting and turning. Probably wasn't wise to start playing it after a few drinks

Been playing this with my nipper today... he got it for Xmas yesterday, we spent the day with family and although I took the Wii with us, I forgot to take the video cable so it meant we had to watch TV yesterday instead of playing SMG and GH3. Wasn't pleased at all.
Anyway, loving SMG at the moment, and we're not very far in... just completed the Manta Ray racing part so we've still got a long way to go
The variety of the levels, the control scheme and overall playability... and also the soundtrack really set this game apart. Easily the #1 game on Wii so far, as far as the Little 'Un and I are concerned.

I bought a Wii for xmas and got Mario Galaxy as I was that impressed with it atmy friends house.
I've got 33 stars so far and just discovered a hidden one, I need two more to open up something, don't know what yet! I really do like it for it's pick up and playability though and the level design is fantastic.

Just watched the Zero Punctuation video for Super Mario Galaxy.... I can't link directly to it cause there's a large amount of swearing in it (as you'd expect) but it did make me laugh out loud several times
edit: oh, and the Guitar Hero 3 video is even funnier!
