Awful gamerscore...

i got mine on sunday and i'm at 100 :p i think that's the lowest here no :D

(What do I win? What do I win)

1000 points in 2 minutes?

that would be Avatar: The Legend Of Aang - The Burning Earth.

you get the score within 2 mins of starting the game for the first time if you follow the video on youtube.

what peeps have said

"What I love about this is that you get the achievements so fast that one is still displaying while you've earned the next!! The 50 hits didn't show until about 61 hits because the 40 hits achievement was still displaying".

"OMG!
This is officially the easiest game for 1000/1000G, unlike other games which take about 4-6 hours(King Kong, TMNT) this one will take 5 minutes!".

What the **** leads you to that conclusion?

It's not exactly that hard to have a score of 40k+

Hell, mine would be quite a bit higher if I wasn't completely addicted to CoD4 online.

Sorry chaps, didn't mean to offend - what I mean to say is I keep reading about really high scores (like the 200k that's just been broken) and they all say they used save games.

Suppose I thought 40k was a high score, I guess not - I only have 3900. :(

He means using games saves from other people and profile glitching to get achievements you haven't got yourself.

What's wrong with saving your game?
Nothing in terms of saving it, but the "Save Game" boost is when one person gets to a certain score, then saves their game for everyone else to use just so they can get the achievements.

As much as i enjoy getting achievements, save gaming has never appealed to me in the slightest. I want to feel like ive earnt my achievements.

Saying that I have been prone to the odd "boosting" match :o

lol getting over 40k is easy without using savegames, mine would be a lot higher if i didnt spend so much time trying to 1k games, i dont bother as much now - but if i played lots of games and only got a few points mine would be higher, but i tend to do as much as i can... again until the last few months where i barely turn it on - simply to busy a lot of the time now.

I love the sense of achievement though, i dont think im better then anyone else because my gamerscore is higher, it does however add another level of competition, mine Nokkon and Abooie's race to 10k (i think it was 10) was funny, me and Nokkon battling and absuing each other at 4am in the morning over MSN

I like to get achievements in games I'm playing, but I wont go out my way to play a game I dont like to get the achievements. I wouldn't buy a game to get achievements either, though I find them a great addition to the 360 :P

I know someone who wont play COD4 online because it has no achevements....

Which kinda sums the whole thing up for me, Yes i like that little box poping up and yes it does add some replayablity to some games but Online they detract from people actually playing the games (halo3 is a good example of people moaning for boosts etc).

Some of them are just stupid and add nothing to a game (drive on every inch of road on TDU you have got to be joking me how is that fun?).

I guess it comes down to some good, some bad and some people take the whole thing way too seriously...

I've had mine since launch and have played a fairly hefty amount of games....but I get bored easily and never think or care about achievements, hence my paltry points :)

Had mine since launch and I think I'm on about 2200, mainly because of Oblivion and a a few arcade games.

If anything I'd rather have a low score. When I see a big score I just see someone who needs to get out more, they either play on their console too much, or are sad enough to actually care about their score and spent time building it up? :o

dunno
most games have easy acheivements to gain so if you've had a console since launch having a 40k score don't surprise me :D

i dont play the game for the acheivements i play it for the fun and I just get the acheviements as i go along

but there is one question thats always bugged me, how do i get 5 stars instead of 3 and half or w/e? I look like a newb :(
