Well, is it? Just had some on a rather lovely fillet steak (Anyone in or near Liverpool, check out the new Circo bar at the Albert dock....great food, reasonably priced and a lovely venue) but now I feel a little guilty knowing what the manufacture of it involves.
Saying that though, I bet a lot of the food, clothes and other goodies cause pain and suffering along the line somewhere. Just the methods involved in making foie gras seem sooooo wrong. But taste sooooo right
