Football 22nd-23rd December *SPOILERS*

I'm not on about in terms of that comparison. What I am saying is Spurs fans like to think their players are better than they actually are.

Spurs fans rave about players like King, Lennon, Dawson, Kaboul, Boateng etc.. and are they really THAT good? I don't think so.

Maybe not great, but they are still young and have time to improve. King would be one of the best CB's in the Premiership if he wasnt so injury prone..I dont think anyone would deny that.

Meh, Spurs blew it with the penalty miss. They deserved at least a draw but they only have themselves to blame. Goal aside, Berbatov was terrible today, just didn't look interested at all.

Games like that win you titles.

Arsenal didn't play particularly well and Spurs were better than usual.

Let's be fair though, Almunia won them the game today but a great substitution from Wenger :D

i know

kept giving the ball away and not fighting to get it back

falling over constantly at the slightest touch trying to get a free kick

nice goal tho

apart from his goal berbatov looked decidedly average, along with the arsenal team.

was a good game, not your typical derby game but a good game nonetheless.

we were lucky to grab the points today, or were we? ;)

Malbranque/Hleb - Malbranque has been lethal for us lately but Hleb is a dangerman too and there's not much in it between these 2 on present form.

Boateng/Fabregas - If Boateng is given a man-marking job on Fab I think Boa would thrive and shut the little diving prima donna down. Boa is strong reads the game well and tackles powerfully and clean. This match up could decide the game but Fab will start hitting the dirt as soon as he sees Boa so the ref will most likely play a big part in this particular battle if he lets protects Fab or treats him like a regular player.

Jenas/Flamini - JJ at present would **** all over Flamini I'm confident JJ and Boa can win the midfield battle.

From a Spurs Forum.

lol

you gotta laugh at spurs fans - malbranque in the same league as hleb

jenas only plays at home and even then only when he feels like it .....and he has the cheek to call fabregas a primma donna :o

we might have played crap and they probably played above themselves, especially defensively, but when they gonna realise they are still miles away from competiting with our squad? :D

A very good result on the back of a pretty average performance there. Honestly thought we'd blown it when they equalised but a cracking header from Bendtner seals the deal :). Not a bad day for FF with Ade as captain and Cesc getting 2 assists :D.
