As a born and bread welsh person, It is a complete embarrassment to have such a pompous pig of a man to be the so called "Prince" of this country. He's a disgrace to the whole of the World.

Fair enough.

The Egyptian Pharaohs, pyramids etc, there is something magical about them, they are more than a residence of a Royal Family.

And 62p is nothing, I'm sure you loose more than that per week/month.

Anyways.. I'd much rather be part of a Kingdom than a republic, especially as I'm going in the Army, I'd much rather serve Queen and Country rather than a government, mainly because of the heritage behind the Armed forces and the Royal family.
 
I wonder what situation wales would be if we renamed england Britain, and put up a big wall just on the inside of the border and ceased all cash flow! HAHA you depend on us, you welsh are merely a state, hell, we don't even include you in our flag :)

The pyramids are (a) ancient and (b) hugely impressive works for the time they were built in. Neither is true of Buckingham Palace, let alone all the rest of the royalty-related tourism. Take away the royalty and you take away the current reason for the tourism. That will cost you a lot more than 62p a year.
