dark theme, i went out during the really bad fog hoping to capture some good images, didnt really work, the two spots i went to didnt really have enough fog to make it show up, plus at stansted the planes was taking off in oposite direction to "normal". But i still like this shot:

the Motorway (m11 near north weald) shots didnt come out at all well so it was a wasted night really lol...

Went out with my new 400d tonight, really unimpressed at how noisy things get at iso 400 and above but oh well, shots are okay:

Nice. Why were you using iso above 400 on long exposures though? Or have i misunderstood?

Oh, I mean just in general taking photos inside/dark situations, my lens is a bit shocking though, but if they were at iso 400 to answer your question - I have no idea why

Took my 300d down to the beach yesterday - do the levels look alright? i don't think my laptop screen is particularly well calibrated

- Low ISO
- Small aperture (big number)
- Loooong shutter speed
- Use a tripod!

And don't shake it, use a remote or a the cameras timer to take the picture so it keeps everything clear.

Was just testing out my new 30D. Standard grayscale, but ramped up the blues and red slightly. Slight Vignetting too.

The first two are with the sigma 70-300, the last one was taken using the kit 18-55mm
