What are you on about? It's still current - P35 and X38 are the current high-end chipsets. The only Intel chipset that's newer is the X48 of which boards using it aren't even out yet.

Superb mobo, used one in a build that run a E2180 at 3.3ghz 24 hours orthos stable. Doesnt have Firewire which was an oversite on my part as it would have been useful.

It's not printed in the manual for my P35 chipset mobo.

OK - well, I don't know if Corsair XMS2 are single or double sided (they have black heatspreaders on) but they work fine as 4 x 1Gb and Corsair Value are definitely single sided. I suspect quite a lot of RAM is single sided these days, but it's very much worth noting anyway.
