Deodorant or Aftershave or Both?

Correct, apart from the 'aftershave' bit. Replace aftershave with a suitable Eau de Parfum fragrance.

I personally use a neutral or very light smelling anti perspirant in moderation and apply a fragrance just before I leave. I have a collection of frangrances by Creed and use whichever is best suited to the event.

I beg your pardon! I meant anything to avoid the combination of odours... aftershave, Eau de Parfum/ Toilet etc (except joop

).

There is no excuse for joop.

I wholeheartedly agree sir. I suppose it can be overlooked if the wearer is on the dole or homeless but it is otherwise unacceptable.

Deo is for sweat prevention, aftershave/fragrance is for smelling nice. Both completely different things.

Use both.

No, 'deo' is for covering up sweaty smells, antiperspirant is for preventing perspiration.

I think lynx tends to get more disrespect than it deserves. Not that I wear it mind. Its not great, not bad. Wouldn't wear it to go out for an occation!

I think it's more the fact that every single teenage male seems to wear the stuff, so they recommend that unless I want to smell like a 16 year old boy, wear something that isn't the latest Lynx variety

Yeap I smoke so I don't really see the point of wasting eau de toilette. A bit of deodrant suffices for me.

One thing i find with lynx, is that when it finally starts going stale, it REALLY hums bad.

other antiperspirants can keep ya smelling ok for 24hrs. lynx dont!

Sure Clear Ice deoderant works brilliantly with neutral smell. Plus Sean John - Unforgivable, Davidoff - Cool Water, Yves Saint Laurent - Live Jazz, or Emporio Armani Red/White.

non-smelly antipersperant, and aftershave for going out

every day, antipersperant and smelly de-odorant, because aftershave irritates my skin a bit, so I don't want to use it too often
