OcUK Forum Trolls - WoW Guild

I'm a level 9 Undead Mage on Shattered Halls, my characters name is Gonk, can someone send me a guild invite it they see me online, I'll probably be on tomorrow at some point. Thanks.

Well it seems WoW doesn't like me, I can't log on for more than 5 minutes without the game lagging out on me and just letting me run around with nothing happening, not being able to talk/sell to anyone.

do a /who ocuk and just ask anyone if you cant find him.

Yeah its ok im in now, but i really cant seem to get into the game, everyone was saying how it is addictive and really draws you in, but since yesterday, every quest has been kill a certain number of something, ive already got bored of that and im only level 6/7.

I thought i would get hooked on this, since i loved guild wars and played than extensively, but now i realise there 2 completely different sort of games.

Play with a group - it's called an MMO for a reason.

yeah i saw you dueling :p, theres a few quests that seem quite tricky there, like where the hell is maggot eye? Name is Deathius, wanted to sound hard and undead :p

starting to enjoy it a bit more now, still im only in the brill section and doing very repetitive quests, but ive been talking to a lot more people and its a bit more enjoyable,

Few more levels and you'll be able to go to your first instance, it usually gets a lot more enjoyable then. Shadowfang Keep in Silverpine Forest (adjacent to Tirisfal Glades) is one of the better instances in the entire game IMO, or at least the best low-level instance.

Thing is with patch 2.3, is that Blizzard pretty much made any outdoor content soloable, it didn't used to be like that before, there was always some elite quests in every zone where you needed at least 2-3 players to complete it; although it would get frustrating if the quest had a nice reward for you but there was never anyone to group with.

Some level ranges and/or zones are also pretty boring, but it depends where you quest really.

The starting zones are the most boring and mundane parts as well - you haven't started really building your character up in terms of gear and abilities and talents yet. When your character finally gets geared up in all greens with the talent trees becoming available, you'll most likely feel the WoW bug then.
