so anyhow i was playin WoW yesterday, and i dared my mate to type in trade "WTS madeline mccan". it did not go down well with some people lol

Because most kids get found within a day - Madeleine hasn't. There was plenty of news coverage for when Sarah Payne went missing too. Hey lets make some "hilarious" jokes about her too :rolleyes:

Oh calm down will you and stop the indignant sentimental tripe. Yes, it must be very difficult for the family (assuming they didn't kill her). But the level of coverage the story has had is ridiculous, and most people watch the news to see just that, not an old story where nothing has happened for months and a street full of journalists staring at a door.

Its not new news. The only reason this story has stayed in the news for so long is because of how the McCanns have gone about things. Now they are making a film or what ever they are planning on doing...I mean come on. Lets concentrate on the bigger picture, hundreds of kids go missing each year. Yes some are found within a day, but others aren't, and do they make the news? NO.

How about you think of all the other families that have had children go missing but can't afford to pay for the amount of publicity that the McCanns have got. If it was some little kid from a poor family the world wouldn't want to know, but because Madeline is from a well of family its made news around the world.

People need to change their attitude towards things and concentrate on the fact that their are many families don't get any support like the McCanns do.
 
Does anyone really care about this whole McCann thing anymore?
I had my suspicions about the parents from the very beginning, but still had respect. However, as soon as they used the fund to pay off they're mortgage I had no time for them at all.
 
Is it wrong of me to consider the pro's and con's of losing your daughter but receiving £1.2 million in donations?

Thinking about it they are sitting on another potential £2.4 million on top the £1.2 million they already have.
