Keegan appointed new Newcastle manager, again.

I see loads of outsiders talking rubbish about something they clearly know nothing about.

Mutual termination of the contract, rumours about SA has wanted out before December or reasons which cannot be talked about on a forum.

On th pitch he's done nothing but make a pigs ear of things, players out of position, rubbish formations coupled with stale, boring and ineffective tactics, he needed a rest after Bolton but his heart rule his head and he thought he was ready for such a job, he simply wasn't.

Unless we have a proven world class manager lined up he should have been given until the end of the season.

If we do have a world class manager lined up then maybe the wallet will be opened and lots of cash spent now that ashley / mort have a manager they have chosen themselves.

A manager with his head and heart in the job would be a start.

His stubbornness to change us into Bolton didn't wash with not only the fans, but the players as well. When he couldn't turn it around he wanted away.

Its a shame for us, this one should have worked out, possibly right man at the wrong time, he needs time, you simply do not get that in todays football, and its not just the toon fans before some smart mouth give any, the Prem is ruled by money, tough decisions have to be made especially when things are not working out.

I'm suprised, thought he'd of had longer. I don't know who can replace him?!

His tactical decsions did baffle me sometimes, playing so many players out of position, it was laughable to see the regular wingers Martins and Milner, on the wrong side constantly. Martins left footed on the right, Milner right footed on the left?? WTF.

Shhh, don't talk like that, its the fans fault for thinking above their station. ;)

shearer would make a good manager and deserves it.

It sickens me how the Newcastle fans berate an experienced manager going through a bad patch, but would place their "relegation struggle" in the hands of someone with no managerial experience at all. If Shearer does get appointed I hope the toon do go down, teach the bunch of clowns a well deserved lesson.

Whether that was a serious or sarcastic quote, I agree that Newcastle fans think they are a bigger team than they actually are.

How do you know?

IF it were him one thing is for certain, he wouldn't come unless he was given massive financial clout as he'd need it.

That's one good reason for him to become manager.

Apart from that there is no other.

Were not a small one either, but Sam brought his small club mentality and it didn't work, yet no doubt the fans are to blame

Yes your a mid table club, and there's exactly where you are now. With no threat of relegation I'd have given him until the end of the season at the very least.

You really haven't got a clue have you?

If shearer takes over what happens if they do worse the skunks turn on their own hero ?

i mean no disrespect shearer was a great player but IMO he is thick as **** and he wont be a successful manager newcastle might even get into relegation trouble

and then who will they get after that even Alex Ferguson said he wouldn't touch the newcastle job

That's not necesserly true. Newcastle are a big club without doubt.

But not as big as the fans make them out to be. This is a club that seasons and seasons ago beat Man Utd 5-0 and whine everytime they play them because they never repeat what was a fluke victory.
