Football Fixtures 12-13th January **Spoilers**

Awesome lol. Now only barca and inter to win and I get another 200 - nice weekend :D Great performance by united

That is the best team performance I have EVER seen. I'm not exagerrating either, people go on about Arsenal this Arsenal that, but that is how you play football. Absolutely stunning game and one of the best I've ever witnessed.

I feel lucky to have watched that :o

But your playing Newcastle!

You can only beat whats put in front of you :D

True true but i's always impossible to judge performances against poor sides.

Arsenal played amazing at the beginning of the season in the Champs League and won what 6-0 or something and their play was utter sublime yet they played against a poor side.

Match of the Day should be a good one tonight :)

It's shocking what's happened with Newcastle when you think that in 96 and 97 they were Premiership runners up two years running up, in 98 and 99 they were runners up in the FA cup for two years running. In 02 they were 4th, in 03 they were 3rd and in 04 they finished 5th... quite how they're playing like they are now is shocking.

The last goal wasn't a goal, the first goal wasn't a free kick and who knows what could have happened if Owen's goal wasn't wrongly chalked off, not to mention some of the defending was shocking - there was one point in the second half where Ronaldo was standing near the corner in Newcastle's half with not one of their players within 20 yards of him.

No doubt a good performance but the best ever? I wouldn't even say the best this season.

Considering the reaction after Liverpool thrashed Derby at the beginning of the season, I'd say the treble was in the bag after that.

:p

hahahaha quoted for truth

I feel sorry for Rooney though, sounds like he really had some fantastic shots saved by a great goalie - and Simpson will get many more chances Im sure but still thought he deserved a goal too

(Rooney should have got a hatrick to be fair - thats life I guess)

You can say if if but but all day long - what about all the last ditch clearances by taylor etc? On any other day they would have probably gone in (not to mention the classy saves by Given) , it was also clear that the home defence stopped when they heard the whistle for offside - whehter it was or not is irrelevant, Man Utd defence have only let in 3 all season at home (in 12 games), an unfit Owen was highly unlikely to score in the first place

As I said all if's and buts
