My Border Collie Jack has died this morning

He had a bad night last night, I spent most of it with him and this morning we and the Vet agreed that nothing more could be done except to ease his suffering.

He went to sleep in our arms and will be sorely missed.

They're fantastic dogs mate, but you know it was ultimately for the best. My dog was put down just before christmas too, and although I'm still gutted about it, you just accept that what's done is done and just remember the happier times.

Our family had to put our Alsation to sleep few years ago, and I know how you feel.

You must be going through a real dark time now. My sympathies are with you 100% at least he had a good life with someone who loved him and thats a hell of a lot more than most animals get.
