Why do they insist on bundling 2 games? £299 without would be far more attractive, especially as they're the cut back 40gb versions without PS2 emulation.

That's good! I'm only interested in the 60GB model as I wouldn't like the thought of their being a better version available. Hopefully they'll release an 80GB which has all the features of the 60GB when I can eventually afford a PS3.

They've been that price for a long time hasn't it?
I agree with randal though, without games would be better.
Sony lose a fortune on consoles though (far more so than games) so it's better for Sony to charge £350 with 2 games than £300 with none. Business I guess, so it's understandable.

Not really much of a price drop, I paid £330 with 2 games + extra controller for mine this time last year (bought in Dubai)

I think im slowly being brought round to getting one, it all rests on Blu Ray winning the HD war, if it does ill buy one, if it doesnt I wont.

Blu-Ray will win the HD war, but it will not replace DVD.

You can get almost all those games for £25 2nd hand anyway so it's a bit of a stretch to call it a price cut.

At least you get the pick of most of the top titles, and not stuck with the rubbish like most PS3 bundle deals out there at the moment.
