Wry no HDMI. What's this Micro-DVI business.

Micro-DVI has always been with the laptop range, so it's probably what Apple though as standard for the current generation - most projectors don't have HDMI yet...

Edit: Mini-DVI is what's on the MacBook and Pro range... opps.

itunes 7.6 is showing up using apple software update but not from the "check for updates" option in itunes itself

I don't know what apple are playing at. That was pretty poor really on a hardware front.

They're going for thin. If you want power hardware, get a MacBook Pro. If you want Kate-Moss-on-crack thin, get one of these.

*still hoping the price of the equivalent MacBooks will drop soon*

Oh, well- no mention of Blu-Ray or changes to the iMac range so it's "As you were" for my plans.

Still no idea about a Mac Mini/Apple TV HTPC set-up so I'll stick with the Shuttle a while longer.

Oh yeah - I forgot that you'd need DVI-I for analogue video. Regardless, it'll need one type of dongle.
