I've seen a few of these dotted about Derbyshire, easy enough to ignore. The prime building land that all these religious buildings take up on the other hand...

I saw a photo of a sign floating round the net a while ago from America, it read;

I think that some of these signs are quite smart, but some are a bit stupid.
I've seen pictures of some that you need to e Christian to appreciate, which goes against the meaning of them in the first place.

I find it really offensive when I walk past a shopping centre and there are large posters everywhere advertising things. Any kind of poster or advert really grinds my gears. As does everything else in the world. I think I should become a hermit.

Thats not at all what I was saying, of course they can, just that some of the signs Ive seen have required a bit more biblical knowledge than a lot of people may have.

Then why couldn't you say that? I only ask because you're not the only Christian I know that seems to think any non-Christian is ignorant.

He he nice one. My point is, everyone has an opinion and if the church wants to have amusing poster, why not? The church has a rather stuffy image and goers seem very judgmental, so this may help that a little.

I am not religious myself, but dont like the the idea of oblivion when I die.
