Motorway cops - cops out of order?

He has - he is knowingly driving on false plates.

i was getting at the fact that it wasnt his fault its got false plates. The car company that he bought it from made the mistake

but i agree entirely with what you're saying. He's a tool who needs to grow up and get that chip off his shoulder. Nothing is ever his fault. He wont pay the fine " the car company will" even though the car company didnt force him to drive round for over a week on false plates

Its not his fault the police treated him roughly, its purely there fault for being stupid. The fact they went into stolen car mode because he had false plates was nothing to do with it. First thing you'd say is "sorry officer, i know why you've pulled me, its got false plates, but its a clerical error on the part of my car company, look in your records, sorry i havent got it fixed yet". But even when they told him the search came back with the car not existing and being suspected stolen, he didnt say a thing

and like the officer said, the pulling over and rough handling didnt phase him a bit, everything that was said to him was somebody elses fault. He needs to grow up and loose the chip on his shoulder, and maybe he migh have received better treatment for an error that wasnt his fault.

That might have applied to the time he was pulled a week previous, but not now. He's already been informed of his offence and told to get it fixed.

As soon as I hear someone ask for respect while being mouthy or shouty, I would throw the book at them! This country seems full of people who use the word respect because they have heard it on a rap record, seen it in a movie and use it often totally out of context, and with no demonstrable reason why they in fact should be shown it.

Respect is ALWAYS earned and not a given, and it starts with you being courteous and in return you then have the right to expect it. To expect it for simply being someone is wrong, especially when you are someone who has done nothing (attitude) to demonstrate you are worthy of it. This “he disrespected me” culture to me, as a 40 year old that was bought up differently to some (though not all!) of the current generation is difficult to deal with. At his age, in his situation I would be worried as hell if I was pulled over, as I was on occasion. I would never have sat in the back of that car and acted like he did or used the line “show me some respect”. I was bought up to respect the Police and you reap what you sow if you ask me. He could have got away with that if you ask me, his attitude let him down.

Bite your lip, wind you neck in, stop trying to have the last word and rest assured the police will deal with you differently. I had little sympathy with him as his attitude stunk, even if I felt he had an element of validity to his argument, he dealt with it badly and got what he asked for.

My 2p.

I recommend perusing the thread on this on PH - the lad has just signed up and posted about it, comedy gold ensues.

Sorry, but he had dodgy plates and got fined for it, even if he had already been told to change them, he still shouldn't have had them, so a fine is deserved.

He was a proper little muppet my mum could contain from calling him the N word for a males private area.

He was a complete idiot not listening to the copper thinking he was above been very cocky, very immature and very arogant, he needs to grow up and you could see that the cop had lost his patience with him.

If a police officer pulls you over accept it, get on with it, and dont question them, you rather them pull no one over? I would rather a police officer pull me over, tell me why he has done such a thing, relised nothing was wrong and let me on my way, then be just driving wasting the tax i pay every bloody week doing nothing.

Job well done if you ask me, especially as the car was dodgy and he was charged/fines..
