Where on earth is Home?

According to Sony and other sources, all the features from home will be available on the XMB. So you can access your trophy room, talk to friends on the xmb, so you'll never need to use home if you don't want to

will it allow you to select a friend or someone you have played against in/out of game and look at the trophy's they have ?

I do have my reservations about spending so much on something that wont draw revenue, but I remember back in the day something similar called Habbo Hotel - so it does have potential of attracting a lot of people in their spare time.

It's going to attract a lot people, everyone's Sister and Mum will want a PS3 to play it, and I'm pretty sure it will pull in a lot of the 'Wii' crowd for its casualness.

I can really see Home shifting PS3's, especially if they bring it out with LBP - Habbo Hotel is still one of the most popular games on the internet, just because us lot on OcUK don't have much of an interest in it, go tell your Sister about it and see what she says...

Personally I'd be happier waiting for Home, including 'achievements', gamertags with game histories etc.. until the Playstation 4 and then having something really impressive from day 1.

Only problem with that is, if these things aren't released on the PS3 then it will fail more than it already as and who's going to want to invest in PS4?

It will be like Sega all over again, they messed up with the Saturn then bought out the fantastic Dreamcast which was ignored by the masses partly due to the Saturn fiasco. You can bet there will be a big take up of the new Xbox because of how well the 360 as done.

Sony really need to get Home, LBP, Killzone 2, MGS, GT5 etc. released and not just talked about. Remember actions speak louder than words. PS3 is a great console that just lacks software.
