Sigh..yes I do but I've had times where I've been using a PC to fault find (therefore changing parts) at a location with no working net.

Wasted time=lost money

Still if you want to defend a corporation that wants to inconvience people, go right ahead.

A CI had to do a 60 mile return journey on a similar system to do a 2 minute change, just because you have to use the software on-line.
 
If you know that you will have to use Internet or phone to activate and you have access to neither then what's the point of installing a software in the first place.
Of course there are scenarios like you said but it's extremely rare. I'm talking about normal users who bother to buy and install Vista.
I don't defend MS, I had problems with activation before but there's no reason for the guy to whine like his life is depedent on it.

I'm sure you carry a mobile phone. It doesn't have to be done online.
3minutes is nothing, especially the time it takes to install hardware.
 
I don't get upset about phoning using the mobile to re-activate & have not had to speak to person yet & as the automated system works just fine.
 
If your legit you shouldn't have a problem phoning them. If you have then you got issues.

No they want to stop losing hundreds of millions of dollars due to piracy. Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill, activating one machine isn't an issue. I one had to activate 30, and that was a PITA, but I didn't complain because I MS have a right to protect their investment.

I honestly can't say that I have ever had problems with regards to activation.

Though sometimes I do wonder, how many people that are having problems with regards to activation and are constantly complaining about it, weather or not they are actually running a "Legit" copy of Windows Vista? :)

Though I think Burnsy meant that he needs to read your posts to see if you're breakingrules in them, not that you're breaking rules by having that font.

To be honest I have a hard time taking seriously the opinion of anyone that thinks writing in italics and using a "3" instead of an "E" is somehow "being different" and cool. :rolleyes:

You bought up this again? How mature! I didn't just use a 3 I used a l and a 3 which looks like B but in a different way.

You seriously need to grow up crying over the way I want to put my text.
