The biggest game of Spurs' season - Carling Cup semi-final *SPOILERS*

because it gives vital experience to the young members of the squad

which has probably gone a long way to making the arsenal youngsters the best crop of youngsters in the premier league

My lord... looking at the stats on the BBC - Spurs have hit 2 shots on target and scored from them both!

Arsenal have more posession and more chances...

I can't understand why Wenger feels the need to treat the Carling Cup as pretty much a reserves tournament.

It's not just Wenger, Ferguson is the same, may be perhaps it is. Who in the right mind would put the League cup above the league and Champions' League? And of the 2 cups, FA Cup and League cup, which one has more prestige ?

aye for spurs fans the carling cup is the pinnacle of their season lol

some teams have bigger fish to fry ;)

please shut up and take your defeat gracefully

i really hope man u win the leage and AC milan stuff you good and proper in the CL :D

Bitter? Arsenal are about to go out of the only competition they had the capacity to win this season. ;)

Sure I'd rather win the FA Cup than the League Cup but a trophy is a trophy at the end of the day.

We generally only field a reserve side when we play lower division sides or are genuinelly confident we don't need to put out a full strength side.

Wenger tonight is playing his local rivals, it's the semi finals and Spurs are a top side... why field a weakened side?

I understand Wenger is looking at bigger things like the Premiership, Europe and the FA Cup. But if Arsenal come away with nothing this year, I really feel the League Cup is something they should have easily won.
