For sure, the League is where it counts and Spurs still have to wait another year to say they've beat Arsenal in the league.

That said I really can't think why you'd field a reserve side in a semi-final and a local derby no less!

Still must be a good day to be a Spurs fan?
 
the thing i love about this is it could have easily been 6 or 7

now lets all wait for the "they only beat our kids/reserves etc"

I think Wenger needs to realise that Walcott aint good enough, he needs to send him out on loan somewhere imo.

for real, walcott has been nothing but dissapointing really ...shows a flash of potential here and there but largely forgettable efforts.

well we're always going to lose to the yids sooner or later it may as well be in something of less importance such as the carling cup.

Totally agree.

When I saw the full squad I thought Cesc and at least one of Ade or Eduardo would have started.

Like Merson just said on SS now, when you get to the semi on any competition you should really be playing your best team.

We had a half decent side out bar our defence - haven't seen Gallas play that badly before

Walcott is too light and needs to bulk up a bit, he's also making the wrong runs most of time and you can tell he lacks match practice, still think he's got a lot of potential.

Can't agree with that, the "kids" got the team there, they should at least have the chance to finish the job, more of them would have played tonight if it wasn't for injuries and ACON.

Fair play to Spurs though, they wanted it a hell of a lot more than we did and our defence was useless today!

Yeah I was quite shocked not to see Eduardo or Adebayor starting. Fair enough give one of your main forwards a rest, but start the other to keep them in good form and give you a better chance.

Adebayor did well after coming on.
