Do you have small children in your house? If a dog could get at a packet of painkillers, then a small child could have an equal chance.
Was the packet just left out on the side, or on a coffee table or something? Our painkillers and such have always been stored in a high cupboard that you have to reach over the table to get at, not something I, as a toddler/young child, could do (lived here 15 years, I'm 19).
Apply more common sense to drugs in your house.
The Anadin weren't just lying around...they were under my sisters car seat where it got to them.
No this isn't animal cruelty before anyone starts.
Just been told that my sisters dog could die as it's eaten a packet of Anadin Extras.
Now, what are the chances of this killing the dog? it's a Cavalier King Charles, just over a year old and upto this day has been perfectly healthy and is all jabbed up etc.
And I've already said "well at least it won't die without a headache"- so no wise cracks
Cheers!
Don't be an idiot, take it down the vet's immediate. It's a freaking blood thinner for Christ's sake.

WHY DONT PEOPLE READ THREADS BEFORE POSTING RANDOM TESTICLES (cant use the B word)
Here is a little bit of info you may not know:
Chocolate is deadly to dogs. It contains chemicals that can kill a dog if it eats to much and the darker the chocolate the more dangerous it is.
Only found out after one of mine ate a giant bar of Cadbury's milk chocolate, he was ok though so I am not sure exactly hom much it would take it kill a dog.
Dog food technology today, boggles the mind!![]()
Awesome, post of the year for me!!
everyone knows about chocolate after it was on corrie, might have been east enders...
It was on QI last week.
Glad to hear the dog is ok, that must have been quite a scare for your sister.
My friends dog ate a half an ounce of weed once, it lived but it was seriously monged out on his bed for about 5 hours. Silly bugger.
