The biggest game of Spurs' season - Carling Cup semi-final *SPOILERS*

how old is lennon, boateng, huddlestone, O'hara, dawson etc only 1 or so years difference in most cases

The difference is Lennon, Huddlestone and Dawson all have at least a year and a half's Premiership experience compared to Arsenal's second string, this argument doesn't really work.

WOW i'm a spurs fan and yeah all hail a spurs victory , but come on , if the gooners wanna play a certain a 11 , then hey i'll take it.We were the best team by a mile over 2 legs and who they field has no bearing unless wenger , was bound to play a certain 11 !

he gambled and it back fired for you gooners end of it be honest

What fun. Arsenal fans are being bad losers and the Spurs fans are being bad winners.

Wenger did not 'gamble', that implies there is some chance he might have played the first XI, there wasn't. Take the victory for what it is rather than finding excuses to gloat.

If it was a league victory you might have had cause to, but lest we forget how Keane bottled it last time round...

The club are absolute mercenaries since Levy arrived. They're trying to keep up with the big boys spending without CL football and a stadium half the size of the competition.

So guess who pays for all the Berby's and Bents?

Very loyal fanbase and the club just takes the ****

Calm down. Even Arsenal fans don't rub it in this much, and they beat you on countless times.
Why do you name yourself after that player btw?

Christ some of the Spurs fans are pretty pathetic. Good luck in the final anyway. At the end of the day Arsenal are a better football team than Spurs and to me, that's where this argument ends.

what do you expect from them? 27 points <-- lol behind in the league after 23 matches and after how many beatdowns from us in the past years....including some spectacular and particularly poignant defeats at white hart lane no less.

Considering your board likes to keep selling your best players time after time ....get used to savouring a 2nd rung league cup final* once every 10 years :p

* in which chelsea will hand a beating to you anyway

my point is spurs are a selling club if the price is right - campbell & carrick come to mind straight away, there would be more examples if you had the kind of players the top 4 clubs were interested in i'm sure.

it's no secret berbatov is for sale at the right price.

all the good work last season was largely attributable to him and you're manager comes out and says he doesn't know whether berbatov will stay ....no wonder he hasn't been happy.

He did stick with the kids/backup players for the most part, just like he did for the final vs Chelsea last year. Here's a run down of the experienced players in the starting XI:

Fabianski - kid
Traore - kid
Hoyte - kid
Gallas - only played because Senderos was injured
Sagna - only played because Djourou was injured
Diaby - kid
Denilson - kid
Walcott - kid
Gilberto - Backup player
Bendtner - kid
Hleb - only played because Eboue was at AcON

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to make excuses. Spurs deserved to win. But don't come out here on your high horse saying Wenger abandoned his policy, because he didn't :)
I'll bet you Darren Bent's pricetag that Wenger doesn't pick the same lineup for the next league match.

what a joke, all this 'played reserves/kids is rubbish, are the arsenal fans forgetting how old Lennon, huddlestone, boateng are? not that age matters at top level

Arsenal played Gallas, Sagna, Gilberto, Hleb, Fabregas, Eduardo, Adebayour all of which have plenty of prem experience not to mention bendtner/walcott who have some experience.
