That is the reason I dislike SLI/Crossfire/Dual GPU's

Yes they are bloddy fast when supported but if a new games along that isn't supported it runs crap compared to a single card.

Think you'll find its a couple of 3870's, the clue is in the name.

Same cores, technically GDDR3 makes it two fast 3850, a 3850X2

Few rumours floating around, a 2 gig version has been talked about which would allocate 1 gig per gpu, doubtful if it will appear as it would cost a bomb. ddr 4 version might be likely though.
