January Transfer Window

Not sure whats going on with ALves and Boro

Work permit hearing set for tomorrow but no deal seems to be done so not sure if it will get done in time, i really hope so cause i dont wanna watch Donk play again !

Well not that often as I suspect King will only play 1 game a week for the rest of his career.
Possibly right there. I'm thinking the same with Woodgate aswell. Thing is Kaboul and Dawson cannot play together but put King at the side of Dawson and he's transformed! Hopefully playing with Woodgate will do the same, he just needs someone with experience to back him up.

Kaboul will hopefully be the same... though personally I think he's one of the worst defenders I've EVER seen, truly shocking and I wish he'd **** off back to france the useless toad. He does have talent but his decision making is appalling. Thoug I've been slated on Spurs forums for saying that, most seem to think he just needs time to settle. I hope I'm wrong... it has been known lol :D

So I'm thinking Spurs should always have King or Woodgate to partner Dawson or Kaboul with Rocha also there and Bambi, sorry I mean Gardener.

2 crocks, a kid who's barely played lb in the prem and a guy who's proven himself in Scotland. Still a lot to prove :)
For sure there's lots to prove, everything to prove infact but you have to admit there's some real potential there..?

Spurs don't have CL football so we can't buy a ready made outfit, we have to do it the harder way.

Bale and Hutton have a lot of potential and Woodgate and King have proven themselves to be top CB's however they've also proven throughout their career that they can't stay fit.

If they stay fit and if Bale and Hutton live up to their potential then you will have a very good back line.

He's messing about because of family issues but Rangers are trying to push the sale through because obviously Spurs are offering very good money.

I think we're paying too much but if he keeps up his form and we can get the same money back for Chimbonda then yes I'd be happy to have him at WHL. I think he should prove to be an upgrade over Chimbo who I've had enough of tbh.

i thougth you liked chimbonda

anyway SSN is saying the deal for gilberto is complete and he is only waiting for a work permit

how long does that take normally hopefully he will play on saturday

I liked him a lot but things change. His attitude has changed this season and he's been a liability tbh. After the reported comments he made last week I think it's time he moved on, I'd be happy with £7m-£8m for him.

Not sure but I think his work permit should just be a formality.

If Hutton turns out to be any good he'll only join us in a year or two anyway so it'll be good for him to get some premiership experience at Spurs.

He proved himself at being able to play in English football at West Ham. They got the intial adjustment period and half a good season which kept them up. Man Utd then took him safe in the knowledge that he could cope with the Permiership straight away and not have the struggle to adapt that many South American players do.

Hutton for £8m right now is a risk. A year or two down the line if hes done well in the Premiership and got another 10/15 caps under his belt, dont be surprised to see Fergie playing £15m or so for him. Just the way of the world.

Blinded by arrogance mate... ;)

Not at all I was actually really only joking, no offence. It is the sort of thing that does happen and has happened through the years. Man Utd were linked with Hutton but at this point in his career it is a risky buy at £8/9m at his level of development.

A lot of Rangers fans are VERY pleased right now.
