You're the one who deviated, not me. And I don't dislike you, I just think you spend most of your time on here typing out of your ass. Don't flatter yourself by thinking that I dedicate anymore than this minimal amount of time to you.

I really can't wait till the NHS is shutdown and people pay for private healthcare as and when they need it, making proper plans for savings or insurance. It would probably improve the service a great deal as poor private healthcare providers would simply go bust as customers chose alternative providers.

Yes - compared to today things were easier in the 80s & 90s. The total burden of mortgage + essential utilities + taxation was much less back then as a % of earnings for the vast majority of the population.

hm, i dont like the idea of having private insurance etc dictate things, americas in a right mess with healthcare, yes our nhs leaks money etc, but atleast we get our care, in america you just wait till you're nearly dead and go to a&e.. then when you need to go and a&e you're turned away because theyre too busy dealing with everyone else on their deathbeds.

Sort immigration policy out, healthcare should definately not be made private, take a look at cuba's, its reguarded as the best in the world because its literally 8p for all those amazing drugs that make you better that the nhs cant afford to give patients.
 
EU expansion is one of the main problems, we shouldn't have let any countries east of Germany in. I don't see how letting the likes of Slovakia and Romania into the EU has benefitted any of the existing counties.
 
the thing is, how come the job is given to the immigrants, know people who live in small villages surrounded by the agriculture soo ...
A) they'll happily accept the low wage involved
B) they dont mind working hard

who else would do the work?? As a nation we are becoming fairly arrogant and snooty whereas people wont work certain jobs. Its commonly accepted in the villages like these that the migrants are good for a lot of work, its the citys that dont see this, if we took all the migrants out do you think the familys with generations of bennefit spongers would take the jobs that are now left? no.they.will.not.

I just think these stats released are just out to finger point whose fault it is and start the blame game, again.

ay, some people are just too up themselves and stupid to realise that a massive amount of the EU workers are coming in and helping our economy etc, paying their taxis for NHS, so what if they get their use out of it, the ones putting strain on it are the nationals of our country who claim bennefits, eat crap food and do no exercise, smoke like chimneys etc.

The thing is, im from hartlepool, the only immigrants there are the ones who work in the kebab shops.. its a backwards place and not a nice place to live, its got its fair share of scum who will slate the immigrants, but tbh, its those that put the strain on the country, like anyone educated who actually looks at the world around them and has a brain to process all the information we get into their own view.

We need the hard working tax paying migrant workers, what we dont need is the bennefit spongers who dont pay tax and receive the same NHS care as the people paying for it.

Ill happily agree that theres a hell of a lot of lazy migrants that sponge too, but its a joke if anyone starts to blame those ahead of the council estate bennefit sponging scum.
 
For every 1 hard working foreign bod you allow into the country, you're allowing at least 1 waste of space "native" to sit on their arse all day sponging off the taxpayer. You also have to find housing, and food, and utilities for that immigrant.

You'll probsibly have to provide translators too....etc etc.

I'm against (most) immigration of this soft because of these facts. I'd much rather see our useless sacks of **** be forced to work than have johnny foreginer do it. I don't want my lovely country concreted over just "Because there's space to build on". It seems that half the new homes built are directly on flood plains, and even if they're defended with some kind of earthen wall (dyke/levee) that just pushes flood water elsewhere and floods that instead.

Even if economic migrants do pay into the system, I bet it's a lot less than the average "job seeker" takes, then they send the rest of their money back to their family in wherever.

The UK is full, and this latest "nail" does nothing to help the situation. Since they were born here, yet not conceived here...does that make the babies British Citizens, who will be afforded every right/benefit of someone who can (for the sake of argument) trace their family history back through 3 generations of britishness? If so, I believe that is wrong.

What a fantastic post! I agree. Here are your options:

1.) Get an army together and stage a coup d'etat. Once you have power, change the nhs or dump it for good (my advice would be dump it for good).

2.) Er, hmm. Actually, I don't think there is any other proactive way of changing the current situation. 1 it is then!

It's really irrelevant. The main issue is that the NHS was never designed to cope with such numbers, and as a result the NHS has become a monetary black hole and it is failing british citizens. The NHS should be for the use of british citizens alone. Free healthcare should not be given to the whole world at our expense.

Blame successive governments for not instilling a sense of hard work and discipline into british citizens.

Perhaps it sounds that way, but people here have a habit of complaining and not doing anything about it. If you read all my posts in this thread I have outlined my take on the subject. But essentially yes, theres nothing to stop HT from finding someone, having a few kids with her etc. Or me for that matter.
 
my brother and his wife both who have worked since leaving school have a mortgage almost had to see thire accounntant to see if they can afford a child.taxes up crime up.services down.roll on the ressesion well fight them in the dole que.being 40 i can still remember great britain befor the multiculture experiment was forced upon us.i cannot help but think we would have been better off saying no.

Absolutely. Letting them join has been purely for their benefit, not ours. It is disgraceful that we are letting them flood over here in their millions, putting a huge burden on our public services and housing.
