thinking bout buying one, getting fed up with silly case design. THe first stacker i had, its just a pain to work with, and not that big, ackward placement. WEnt with a small case for uni with the antec 900, and its way to small, gtx/2900xt pain to fit in with more than a couple hard drives, very little space between psu/hdd's to play around with cables. No idea why antec, who started the sideways mounted, rubber grommeted, massive space saving, easy access hard drive system, decide to leave it out of other cases. The sonata is great for systems i build for people but lacking in space and airflow for a top end system, so antec make bigger cases but ditch all the useful features.
THis armour seems to have just about everything, if fans aren't quiet at default can always run them at a lower speed easily, useful side intake. sideways mounted hard drives and hoping those bay things have some sort of vibration absorbtion going on. fans all over the place, massive space for mobo, watercooling at bottom maybe. Only thing its lacking is usefully placed holes in case for passing tubing outside case. TT on plenty of there cases put rubber edged holes just next to pci slots which is perfect, but for this case moved them way up by the psu which is just going to make for lots of ackward routing of psu cables and tubing. Makes sense to have space at bottom and have water input at the bottom so incase of any leaks of any water theres the least possible chance of a problem.
Can't work out why other places have it £20 -40 cheaper than ocuk though, i had a rant about 3870 prices compared to the rest of the uk and they dropped prices inline with the rest of the uk though. So might be worth noting the case is instock at £125, and preorder also at £110 multiple places, gibbo
I'm happy to buy from ocuk, but not paying £20 more for everything for no reason.
