So I've had the PS3 a couple of days now...............

It's not 'brilliant', that's why so many people complain about it and why it recieved the most worst hardware/peripheral nominations on here.

Well judging by the amount of posts saying they like it goes to show they arent that bad! Its based on opinion mate so stop trying to pass it off as a fact.

More people dislike it than like it, fact.

Take off those blinkers.

well for anyone interested this months PSM3 and PSW magazines have the concave trigger adapters for the sixaxis free. Out today by the way.

Genius! Just went and got these, perfect. Thats made the pad so much better.

Thank you :)

Now I gotta find out where I can get another set without buying the magazine again.

yes thats what he's saying. id agree with that. source = everybody i know who owns one lol its not absolute hatred, its disappointment knowing there are much better pads out there, for most. for me its getting thumb ache after an hour's gaming.

Firstly, that wasnt the point and secondly says who? A few people in a console section of a forum. Provide some large scale statistical evidence then ill believe its fact, better still own a PS3 then your comments will be valid.

Well, everyone I know who isn't as ridiculously bias as certain members on here all have problems with several things on the Six-Axis. So yes, that would make it not a good pad.

Well, I and 3 friends have no issues at all with the PS3 sixaxis. We all have the DS3 as well :D

Sounds like its just a case of whoever has the most friends is right, and anyone who disagrees is bias. What a great way to resolve a subjective point ;)

Incidentally I have 16 friends with a ps3 and a 360. 12.7 of them prefer the ps3 and 3.2 prefer the 360 pad. 0.1 doesn't care. BUT of the 360 preferrers, one of them knows a man who knows a cat who ****** on a tree outside a game shop, so his vote counts more. And 2 of those people who prefer ps3 are people I dislike, so their vote counts less. And one of the ps3 prefferers heard from a mate that all his mates like 360 more, so is just voting ps3 to be different.

Most of my mates prefer the PS3 pad and most of them dont really give 2 ***** about which console they prefer.

edit lol badly timed post.

It does not surprise me that your nameless mates "surprisingly" agree with you and his nameless mates "surprisingly" agree with him.

I could give you the names of my friends, not that it would matter. I'm talking about real people, but I could always show a similar feeling on these forums.
The fact the PS3 pad recieved more worst hardware/peripheral nominations (out of ANYTHING in the last 12 months) speaks volumes for opinions on it, and as much as people like wwwebber, Nanoman and a few others I can think of, I don't speak for them.

I've had the PS3 since release and although I have never thought of selling it I have not used it very much at all. One of the main reasons for this is the Control pad, i just find it really uncomfortable, the positioning of the analog's, shoulder buttons etc just doesn't feel natural and causes my hands to hurt after a short time. I love racing games and I find these the worse for the controller.. in comparison I just love the 360 pad and will always buy the 360 version of a game even if for whatever reason the PS3 was better, this is purely down to the controller that and atm I prefer the facilities of Live to the PS3.

I was joking, hence the speechmarks. My point was you were both stating obvious things that would back up your views. I don't care either way. I don't have major issues with either pad and it is a fully personal choice. I can't see why whether someone else likes the ergonomic feel of it or not would make a difference to me or others tbh. It's something everyone has to try for themselves.

Of all the ps3 vs 360 things that gets debated on these forums daily, it is the one that I understand the least.
