my new toy

I dont know much about bikes, Except from seeing a 220mph Hayabusa video on youtube quite a few months ago.

Amazing, Congrats.
Ps, Dont kill yourself.

andy - im not planning on it, had the old busa for a year and a half and believe me this was in is far safer. the brakes work for a start.

jesus, whats the 0-100mph times on these things, gotta be something crazy if you can put the power down.
Looks the nuts mate:cool: enjoy

will be somewhere arround 2.5 secs give or take a little, they are suprisingly easy to get the power down as the wheelbase is fairly long.

I really really like the 2008 busa. The little design touches bring it right up to date but its still unmistakable as to what bike it is. Build quality looks really high aswell. I nearly bought one when I got the blackbird but other comitments meant I couldn't justify the extra cash.

Enjoy it :)

the build quality is superb, paint is really deep and feels like a mechanic built it compared to the old that felt like a child fixed it together with blue tack and cellotape. but that said the engine was bullet proof just hope the new on is as well.

youd be suprised how well the old did corner, dont ge me wrong it wasnt sports bike quick to turn in, it did require and experienced hand and a bit of effort but once online was very stable. the new one seems the same but appears to turn in slightly quicker. personally dont like a really quick steering bike for the road. prefer something that requires a little effort.

Not really into bikes but I love these. They are bloody quick!

Make sure you dont kill yourself as soon as you get it :p

no worries mate wasnt a cricism. and yes would love to take it to germany. only thing with the bike is the standard cans are naff, make it sound like a lawnmower. just doesnt suit the bike. may have to have a look at a pair of yoshimuras for it. looks better as well

i remember reading in MCN that the new Busa is meant to be electronically limited to 186mph or something?

anyone know if that's true?
