Apparently volume 1 comes as vanilla and Limited Edition, the LE is $65 so I imagine it's going to be pretty fancy.

:D:D:D

Watched the first disk of Shuffle today .... not a bad harem comedy, (although no Love Hina), with the twist that some characters are gods and others devils, although most are normal people. Quite good in places if a bit formulaic ...

Now and then here and there, what a cool anime. I love the music at the end, it reminds me of something. Also the lad whos kinda good/bad guy (forgot his name) he sounds like yugioh spirit from yugioh?

Btw anyone know if i can buy a soundtrack cd with the ending music on of Now and then here and there? And is there any other anime music cds/dvds i can buy?

Don't know about a CD for Now and Then, Here and There but one set of CDs I really want to get hold of one day is the full Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Soundtracks, I think there's about 5 or something. I love the music in that show.

if you'd bought the LE's of the TV series you would probably have some of the OST's ;) (I think 3 of the LE's had CD's).

I think the OST's are going OOP now in the US :(

the LE's were US releases, that came out a while before the UK ones (other extras included t-shirts, little figures, deck of cards).

From what I gather all the OST's are available separately except for 1 that was only released with an LE, but I can't remember which.

There was a special boxset of the GiTS soundtracks that came out in Japan (last August/September) .... included a pile of cds plus, i think, a USB stick with some stuff on it. I did have it on pre-order as Amazon JP but ended up having to cancel it, i.e. search for the following on there ...

攻殻機動隊STAND ALONE COMPLEX CD-BOX

finds it but it looks like its only available from other sellers now. The documentation for boxset indicates that it contained 5 previously released CD plus one of unreleased music. I just have the film OST's for the first two films plus the 1+, 2 and 3 OSTs for SAC. (edit: And the Be Human CD too)

Personally I like "I do" from SAC OST 2 and "Run Rabbit Junk" from OST 1+ ... completely different tracks which suit different moods.

I need to stop making impulse purchases ...

(for those that don't know its the cardboard "robot" from Yotsuba&!). The switch on the side of the head turns the eye lights on and off ... head also comes off completely and can be replaced by the characters head.

;)

(third post in a row, bad form i know :( ) ....

Looking around regarding this gives some interesting results ... Rightstuff shows a normal DVD case with a different cover for the LE but looking on United Publications site shows a nice box along the same lines as the first MOHS LE disk .... :D

I see that the Ghibli film Ocean Waves has finally been picked up by Optimum Releasing for UK release. I thought that this was quite a good film when i saw it, (I have the Japanese release which has an English subtitle track), and preferred it to Only Yesterday which I thought was quite weak.

Just reading over at the AOD forums that Beez are doing a UK release of Haruhi, using the Madman R4 masters (which I believe were good), but in both a standard and LE version with all the extras from the R1 set :D

I might double dip to support the UK industry (i'm not a great fan of double dipping), as this sort of release is (in my opinion) well worth supporting, as if it goes well it could mean we get more LE's in the future.
Standard editions are going to be RRP £19.99 as normal, and LE's are going to be RRP £39.99 for the first, and £34.99 for the later ones (so allowing for tax not much more than the RRP on the US releases (which were an RRP of $65 and $60).

My ADV order finally arrived this morning, as did my TRSI "gotanime" membership card etc :)

Had a look at the magazine again today. It was a write up of Leiji Matsumoto. What did catch my eye was Witchblade... looks like my kind of thing lol

Wouldn't mind the DVD box set of Afro Samurai. Really enjoyed it.

The big music store has so many GITS DVDs out lol. I think they put more out everytime I go there to tease me. "Look at all these cheap volumes which you can't even afford."

Watched something called Abenobashi shop or somit like that, wasnt too bad. Its about 2 kids trapped in weird worlds and can never get home. The outtakes were hillarious. :D

Also someone mentioend NGE, whats that?

plus Ghost in the Shell - Solid State Society?

Stelly

Yes very much so, I bought all of them together not long ago and its by far my favourite anime to date with the first film being one of my favourite films of all time period. :)

The second film was a bit short on story and brought very little to the character development but the stunning visuals made up for that, the 3rd film was in the same style as the series. (As I understand it they made that instead of a 3rd series?)
