Think you'll find that's actually 14,000TB (1PB = 1,000TB) so actually 1.4 million GB.

Also not a hard-drive, something like a SAN array probably.

i was jsut reading another post about if less platters means less power.. i wonder how much elec this use ???
 
Holy cow, if thats not a glitch causing that size report and it really is one disc then either the drives a few feet thick or the platters are like lp's

How long before we see 5Tb drives on TWO ? :D
 
There is no single physical drive that holds that much storage. It just doesn't exist.

It must be a disk array of some kind. Though just think how many MP3s that would hold!
