Just a shame it looks so bland and will only appeal to Americans. I'd rather have the Atom 500 or Caterham RS than that :)

guess I'm American then

Twin turbo V8 over quad turbo W16, its far less bloated than the Veyron and personally I think the Veyron is a fugly car anyway.

Thats really nice, might not be the sexiest car in the world but it does look mean and goes really fast. Function over form imo.....

Plastic car with big engine, crap finish, parts bin components and bespoke........stickers! So far from a Veyron which is much more than BHP and paper numbers.

Clearly none of you know who Carroll Shelby is.....(thats the Shelby in Shelby Super Cars)

If by plastic you mean carbon fibre then yes, your ignorance is outstanding. Because its American obviously means that it is crap

It's built by Americans.

Need I remind you that in 1984 the Z51 Corvette could pull 1.03G on the skidpan.

To compare, a 2004 Ferrari Enzo pulls 1.01G......

I know skidpan figures alone don't automatically entail brilliant handling all round and I'm not implying that - but they are quite indicative of a vehicle's ability.

Just my 0.2c. When required, the goods can be produced.

Did I say the car was crap?

I said it had a crap finish, an insight I got from someone who sat in one, so perhaps somewhat more insightful than you give it credit for. Your fanboyism of everything American here perhaps gives you a less than clear view of when someone is taking issue with its comparison to a Veyron, rather than its ability as an amazingly quick motor car. A carbon fibre body and a big engine does not a Veyron make, which was my point!

..and as Autocar stated having driven one..

"What's it like?
We couldn’t help but love the Aero TT’s blue paint, but the body looks like something from the mid-1990s, with noticeable variances in some panel gaps. There are echoes of Zonda at the front and Diablo at the sides, while at the rear function has priority over form. The interior leaves much to be desired, but it’s easy to get in and out. The seats are supportive and the driving position suited to a six-footer, apart from the front wheelarch intruding into the footwell.

Should I buy one?
You could argue that around £335k is a ludicrous sum of money for a left-hand-drive car with no heritage, dated appearance, build quality on a par with a 1980s TVR and all the luxury of a small Malaysian hatchback.
"

I suggest my ignorance is somewhat less than yours, and I wont even pick up on the Carol Shelby point!

I like everything about it

Im not an interior snob, especially when the cars main purpose is to go fast and make you poo your self anyway.
