Want to see what that beasties can do, I was so close to buying one from a competitor a few weeks ago. GTX will stay till the end of the year tbh and I'll be happy getting a year out of it.

From what I've seen so far in COD4 (online), Oblivion and even Crysis it's exactly on-par with my GTX. Switch if you're bored but don't bother if you want an actual upgrade as it's practically the same apart from it being louder and having better drivers (I got sick of this betas and stuff malarky and they were buggy for me anyway).
Hope the 8.3 drivers will improve things more.

For me it feels like a step up from a GTX, my GTX wasn't the best clocker and I used to use 100% fan when gaming so the X2 is a lot quieter in comparison. Also, Crysis is faster for me with the X2, 6FPS in the bench @ 1280x1024 but at 1680x1050 it feels like much more, I very rarely see below 40FPS in the early stages of the game and 30FPS in the later, more stressful parts. This is on all high with a tweaked very high config.
CoD4 suffers from the Powerplay issues in SP but when its not running at 20FPS because of that bug its certainly on par if not slightly ahead of my GTX.

That's how I feel about my GTX. Since I bought it I don't think I have EVER used non-beta drivers! I'm sick of the various glitches such as dreamscene causing driver crashes and the rest.
Aye, exactly. It's a fantastic card but Nvidia's pathetic drivers let it down.
