Football *Spoilers* 8th-9th March

On an even brighter note, The messiah is now only 2 places from the drop zone and so far proving to be the complete disaster for newcastle we said he would be.

In fairness, you said they wouldn't drop anything at all, still reverse psychology? If it is, keep it up :D.

Come on, NOBODY could call 3 draws for arsenal in a row after the way they have been blowing teams away all season.
I said they would drop mabye 3 or 4 by the end of the season and i could see united dropping 6 or something like that.
So far, I'm 2 points out, which if its stays that way, wont be too bad a call.
:p

Chelsea have to play both united and man utd.

Win them two games as well as the games in hand and they are top arent they?

Easily possible for chelsea to sneek it while all the talk is over utd and arsenal

You really think Chelsea have a chance?

Chelsea do have a chance, we're firing blanks at the moment and if Man Utd slip up somewhere, they could be right in with a good chance.

Gutted today, but we got what we deserved, but that's not enough.:(

Not over though and I just hope we find some form, very, very soon.

I'd rather the champs league as we've never won it and at start of the season i never thought we'd challenge for the prem league let alone win it.

At start of the season i accepted were going through a big rebuilding process with all the youngsters getting a few seasons under their belt.

I thought we'd easily be top 4 but never imagined being top at this point in the season to be honest

I didn't 3 weeks ago but if they get knocked out of the CL and MU and Arsenal go through then we beat both of them at home, yep:)

Had you been chasing just one of them then i think you'd be in with a shout but you need both of them to drop points and i can't see Arsenal's poor run going on much longer. Also i can see both (Utd especially) beating you at the bridge.

I've noticed all season that if Arsenal don't get into their stride early on they really struggle. They kick into gear straight after half time but if teams see that 10-15 min spell out Arsenal start to run out of ideas.

 They've ended up scoring plenty of goals in the last 10-15 minutes of games, especially in the first 3-4 months of the season.

Dont agree with that at all, in a lot of games this season its been 0 - 0 at 80 minutes and we have looked average then in the last 10 minutes the fitness shows through and we end up getting one of two goals

We only need MU to drop points if we beat the pair of them and they've still got you, Villa and Arsenal to play:)

It's just what I've noticed. If they get an early goal teams lie down for them, but if the opposition holds out til ~60 minutes, or score first, Arsenal make it very difficult for themselves. It's been highlighted A LOT more recently. Earlier in the season there was less pressure, I'd say its affecting them now.
