Drift Mode – The player’s drifting technique is measured based on drift angles, racing lines, and speeds within evaluation zones located at various turns on the course.

In Depth Car Tuning – Players have the ability to adjust the vehicle’s performance, including power, tyres, suspension and the ability for quick tuning whilst racing.

Two-player Split Screen Racing – Allows players to race head-to-head offline.

New Race Events – Online racing fans can join in on a new set of scheduled events and time trials.

This game will be rubbish with only 6 tracks, well 12 inc variations and limited to just 71 very highly detailed cars of which upto only 16 player races available online running at 60 fps in (scaled) 1080p resolution.

Available for £17.99 online who do they think they are kidding....

Seriously i wonder how people can still moan about this release and its upgrade over the JP release in December.
 
when you say 'scaled' 1080p is that the same way my mega drive runs in scaled 1080p or something different ?

Many full games have less features than this.

I think the game runs somewhere between 720p and 1080p and is upscaled to 1080, much like how CoD4 actually runs at a lower res than 720p but is also upscaled.

[EDIT] Read this, realized the game is out in just over 2 weeks and preordered it. Can't wait.

Its not 1920x1080 native.

Runmours are its 960x1080
(which is still technically 1080p and is still more pixels than a 720p game)

The game is spoiled with major jaggies issues which i doubt have been fixed since the JP release.
Still its an awesome looking game though.

This bloody game is tempting me to buy a PS3 when i clearly CAN'T AFFORD ONE!!! :mad:

Looks like i may have to get one then :( Might wait and have a go on it round a mates first, not sure.
 
Good news indeed! I just pre-ordered this last night. I decided to get the physical Blu-ray copy so that when GT5 comes out I can just sell GT5: Prologue on...

I decided to go for the download as it means I don't have to put in the disc to play.

That F40 looks very cool, I can't wait :cool:
