I forgot to mention, I got it slightly cheaper than £17.99. I don't mind putting in and taking out discs. I do it enough with the other games console and doing it a few times isn't going to kill me. The ability to sell it on when GT5 comes out appeals to me. GT5: Prologue will probably be in my PS3 for some time to come anyway...

Edit: Ah just seen Splitscreen just you vs friend no other cars on track thats so boring like Forza 2 better not be like that for full game.

If you get the download version I think you can download it 5 times between your friends and only have to pay onceLooking good. I pre-ordered a handful of the blu-ray versions last week for me and a few mates

are there any decent force feedback wheels that cost around the £50 mark? or is that a no hoper?

I have no idea though but I think with those wheels you get what you oppay for, I used a cheap one at a friend once and it was very light, horrible and it didn't even have force feedback

Just to point out, those shots are all old, well since Sept-November and yes this game has its great visuals ruined with jaggies.
This is my biggest gripe with the game, then we have to remember even FM2 suffered quite badly with jaggies. Its seems its 60 fps with jaggies this generation or 30 fps with AA.
My own personal belief is that with this game its a problem more on horizontal lines and this is caused with the scaling of the rumoured 960x1080 native res scaled to 1920x1080. Hence a 2x increase in the horizontal plane. What you have to remember is that this is still quite a bit below 1280 horizontal (for 720p games). I can however confirm that on tests i done with both a 720p and a 1080p projector that with a 1080p display the jaggies are ever so slightly decreased, but mainly on the vertical plane were you get the full 1080 res against a 720p vertical scaled res with a 720 display. The benifit is not worth rushing out and getting a 1080p display, games however that are 1080p native look incredible on a 1080 display that i can say for sure and particulary on a large screen or projector.
Im afraid your gonna have to live with the jaggies guys
