Lost power supply

Hi all,

On Saturday night the power supply to my external hard drive was lost. It was to a Lacie 500gb external drive. (This is what I need, but 3 pin male)

I dont understand what the 24W bit means on the Lacie site. Does that matter or do i just go for a 12V 2000mA plug?

The Lacie power supply has the same output as the one you've linked to, but do you know the connector size your Lacie needs, and whether it was center pin positive like the aforementioned PSU?

Im not sure because i have lost it

Its a female straight pin. I think it may be 5.5mm. Could anyone on OcUK help as you sell these drives (or anyone on here who may have one)

edit - i tried a couple of 12V 2A adapters and they didnt work, so im guessing they need to be 24W

Well you can get different 12V 2A plugs then, because the ones i tried didnt power it up.
