teenage thugs

odd, i work trolley and baskets at my place of work and i find it tends to be the impatient middle aged people and elderly sods who think you're beneath them that tend to be the worst. never really had a problem form younger people

when i was working at w h smiths we had this old guy (70-80) who used to come in and have ago at every1. he made one of the staff cry once. he was eventually banned

i used to have problems with young chavs but it tended to be one off instances

also there was this couple who wouldn't be served by a member of staff because she was asian (although she does have a broad norfolk accent)
 
I often get this sort of "Who do you think you are" blah blah. Or they ask you what school you went to when you were younger. Now being 23 i find this an odd question, so i just respond with if you want a scrap, lets have it.

Just front them back like I do. Don't back down, as this is what they want. This of course should be ignored if their are lots of them and one of you. If it's two or one on you, take your chances. Usually you hit one and the other legs it. I am ****** off with these little ***** thinking they can mug me off for fun. The sooner Britan fights back, the sooner they will stop terrorising people.
 
Note down the car reg, report it stolen or doing something crazy in the carpark, scaring the kids ect, let the polie deal with it.

Get some plates made up of her reg and go drive past cameras fast.. wait till you see the car in the car park again and superglue the locks.... pleanty of little anoying things you can do to them without leavign any trace its you :)

Wait till they are shopping again and drop something in the trolly when they arnt looking, always good for a laugh.

Other than that - wait till he is alone, than batter him.
 
Find an area away from the cameras and shoppers and give him the slap that his missing father should have done years ago. It's the fact that so many people back away from confrontation that gives these little scrotes the confidence to by ride roughshod over everyone. Bring back the local bobbies that where never shy about giving anyone a clip around the ear when it warranted it.

They are probably the same kind of people that broke into my house judging by the hole they sqeezed through - i dont like them - dont think mandatory service is any good as dont want them weapons trained or trained in any combat.
Bring back the cane in school! i had my fair share of punishment and i dont think it has cause me any harm!
The world is just too soft to react to problems like violent youths.

its not the teacher fault its the heads and heads of department and school boards. my mum teaches english in one of the worse schools in the area they never properly enforce rules.
all exclusions temporary or permanent have to be signed off by the head and one deputy head and they just dont care

an example of this:
a kid smashed a window hospitalised and other kid and injured 2 others

he was excluded for one day and the kids were all to scared to press charges because the school refused to get involved

When I was a lad, back in the 70's-80's, we (my peers and I) had respect for our elders to a certain degree. If you misbehaved, it was likely your neighbours would complain to your parents and they would punish you in some way. Now days, people just seems to be too scared to say anything or do anything about teenagers. I guess it's the sueing culture which has invaded us and peolel are too scared to give a brat a right hander because they would be sued or attacked by a group of teenage thugs. I have two teenage children who would never behave in such a manner, so nurture must also affect this. I also grew up in a middle class family atmosphere, perhaps that effects it?

Their parents give them the confidence to behave like this, combine that with the fact an ASBO is more of an award than a punishment they know they can kick off with older people and if they hit back the older person will be arrested.
 
Not good to hear, sounds like you did well though.

On a side note, how well can you people handle those trolleys? I only ask as I was in tesco the other day and someone was pushing a massive line of them snaking across the road and very very nearly smashed into my car. I gave him the horn and finger......is there a limit to how many you are allowed to push?

Suposedly 8, but due to supermarkets having less than the required staff I take in excess of 20 sometimes (management told me its ok). I was in the bay itself at the front of the store when the chav struck.
Refering to your snaking incident, trolleys dont have brakes, dont steer well, if i stop suddenly one flys off the end and carparks are never flat:p something you dont really notice till you work there. However I do agree some staff are proper tards with the trolleys.

we have a limit of 10 in ours, but like you say, understaffed and overworked, you usually do anything between 15 and 25ish. i've never full on hit anyone yet, but have clipped a few people (read: retards) who think it's fun to play chiken with a guy pushing a **** load of trolleys. why oh why do they see me and think just as i reach them it's a good time to run infront of me :mad:

edit: my managment said it's ok as long as they don't see me doing it :p

last year a dopey girl in a 206cc rammed into the row (of 15ish) trolleys and continued to rev the engine after she had crashed, she clearly wasnt looking at the road!
Last week a dopey woman, in another 206cc looked right at a junction (where I was) then looked left, then proceded to drive into me, slowly yes but very dosey! She opened the door and said she didnt see me, I said i am wearing a full illuminous yellow coat...:p

they don't pay us enough :( i told a customer to ******* get some manners after the last time something similar happened and she broke into full on rant mode. i am surprised i didn't get the sack for that one :D
