Goth Clothes Prompted Killing

Well I want to start a group prejudice against chavs, we'd go out once or twice a week late at night, target a group of chavs if they try get lairy we'll hang them. It's not like anyone would care, they're parasites.

The police won't do anything, the group just blames each other and get away with it, the police cast it off as too much effort or unnecassary paperwork. The police run on statistics alone today, not morals.

Great britain? We couldn't defend ourselves against a small canadian village armed with pointy sticks any more.

Christ....she was knelt down to cradle his head on her lap when they started on her.

death to them all.

I read the transcript this morning in the Metro. "No its all over their hands, all coming out of their eyes, all out their nose and everything". They were the words spoken by the 14 year old girl on a 999 call after been advised to stem the blood.

Utterly appalling.

I don't agree with the 'death to them all' bit but a new task force armed with rounders bats will do.

I don't think its possible to install discipline into these people without a little (or a lot) of fear.

My girlfriend dresses Gothic, She looks great.

But while she was in school, She always said that's the insult Chavs used to use on her. It's hilarious.

It's like "****ing Gof"

That's it, It's all the abuse she got, I mean to call someone who is a Goth a Goth as an insult. Isn't that a bit wierd?

Best thing about Chav, Is when you call a Chav a chav, they try and deny it now, cos it's seen as such a derogatory term.

Anyways. Goths are hot. The fit ones anyways....:p

Some truely shocking responses in this thread!

Personally i think the age you can be tried as an adult should be dropped for such severe crimes as by the age of 15 you are perfectly aware of the result of your actions (specially when that action is stomping on someones head) and should be tried as such... Life for them all (or death that works for me too)

To the people saying that people shouldn't dress like a goth as that attracts attention as Andrew1978 said this has nothing at all to do with the victims being goths this was to do with a bunch of ****'s beating on a couple of people for being different, any difference would have done

I dont believe vigilanty justice is the way forward, but the legal system is waay too lax in this country so unless that changes someone has to do something i spose

I'd have to go along with what somebody already said in this thread - I don't think it's so much a case of these things never happened 20 years ago, just they're being brought to peoples attentions more widely and easily via something like the internet.

The freedom and superb ability to get information and news like this means it's much easier for people to hear about the tragedy in the world.

I certainly haven't seen this on the news or heard it on a radio... I believe that we're simply hearing about this more than we used to, though on the flipside whilst I'm sure this did happen 20+ years ago... I do think the level would have increased somewhat.

Whether you can blame the attacks on video games, films, tv, music (repeat ad nauseum) is a completely different matter.

I used to get that in school all the time, it never made much sense. Stupid chavs.

I've always dressed with a kind of goth/alternative style and I used to get a lot of stick for it at school. I was at a pretty small school and was the only person to dress like that for a few years before it became a bit more mainstream. I've been threatened at knifepoint and shoved downstairs on numerous occasions all for dressing differently. I'm pretty sure if the same people would've had the chance they would've tried to kill me if they could.

Same.... Your appearance and the music you've mentioned listening to scream goth to me.... Another vote for a poll! :P

WTF? I'm wearing a light blue shirt with a dark blue tie, cufflinks, smart black trews and shoes...and I'm listening to Peaches.

How on EARTH is that goth?

There is NOTHING 'goth' about this fine specimen of a man:

lol. The hair,
in that pic it was about 2" long all over and messed up with some hair goop stuff. Note that it is also covered by a vivienne Westwood hat...Hardly 'goth' :p
the ear hole thing...
Nowt to do with 'goths'.
I'm sure I've seen you in dark/gothy clothes in a couple of pics you've uploaded.

If jeans and a T shirt count as 'dark/gothy' then I must be guilty :p

*backs down from the mighty Penski* :p

It was just the impression I got....

Oh and Vivienne Westwood? You poofter :p

It does make me wonder what the difference is between now and 20-25 years ago when I was in my teens.

Could it actually be the influence of films, TV, games? When I was a lad, it was nigh on impossible to see a violent (X or XX) film if you were under 15 or 18, now I find my (well educated, wealthy, intelligent, pleasant) relations allowing their 13 year old son to watch Saw and Hostel on DVD.

Blaming T.V and video games is a complete copout, it has nothing to do with that it is bad lazy parenting that is responsible for breeding such little ***** :(
