Weird, I went through entering all the relevant details, clicked on "Review and finalise your purchase" and it went straight to a page from PayPal that said something like "click here to try again". :confused:

I don't want to, well I cant, use Paypal. That's the reason why I clicked on the "Have no Paypal account" in the first place.

Vent, what they mean by no PvP, is no going out and hunting for people, but if you get attacked you can defend yourself. During war times I'm not sure, but they have fought before and I expect they will again.

You still pay through Paypal with the No Paypal Account. You can make a secure payment via CC/Debit through Paypal without having an account.
 
Aza, it works fine for me using Evetimecode. :) I too, am now refusing to have a paypal account. :mad:

Jita doesn't work fine though, i r stuck meights!
 
Yep, I tried it again and it worked a treat. I'll bookmark Evetimecode as well though. :)

Just had to wait 30 minutes for the phone call and the code appeared in my inbox at the same time as I was talking to the guy on the phone.

Personally, I wouldn't say that a change was on the horizon. OcUK corporation allows PvP in the form of retaliation and during wars (which are few and far between). PvP in the form of going off on a rambo mission to invade 0.0 or taking out a few noobs in low-sec is off the cards.

There are two types of people in OcUK Corporation; the old people like myself who basically keep stuff ticking over for and with the new players while maintaining our own carebear lifestyles, and the new players themselves. I personally have no wish to participate in PvP with Scetrov, there are several people in the corporation who feel the same.

I don't feel that new players appreciate or enjoy being thrust into PvP within a few days of joining a corporation which is why the no PvP rule exists. Special circumstances arise when a player is attacked they are entitled to retaliate, equally war targets become fair game if diplomatic channels fail.

All that said, I have no personal objection to PvP, I have a second account which is totally and utterly seperate from OcUK and the Oc-PS alliance I PvP regularly on that account. Other Oc-PS member corporations are also entitled to make their own rules regarding PvP, although there are still rules there (namely don't shoot blue and don't pirate). If someone expresses an interest in PvP I will actively seek a position for them in an affiliate corporation be that within Oc-PS or one of our friends.

In summary, OcUK Corporation rules are "Weapons Tight - fire only if fired upon".
 
:( Latest patch has caused so many overview bugs it's unreal! Like the inability to see moons in space, even pressing alt+z :( makes scanning a *****.

Also drone window keeps relocating of its own free will, even though pinned/locked, and is it too much to ask for to be able to see only fleet/gang and corp mates in overview? Using logistics I have to have EVERYONE (see Gary Oldman in Leon for definition of everyone) on my overview, granted I can use the watch list, but when I have 15 people and 2 call for shields I want to know immediately how far away they are and how fast they are going, which I cannot see easily with 55 neutrals on my overview :(
 
I've just had reports from the home front that the builders have just dug through our Cable line.

Hurrah! i didn't even start the 6 day skill. Only the 10 hour one :(

When undocking with the drone window next to the overview the window gets moved to under the overview, causing the overview to move up, pushing the selected items with it. Please see the attached screenshot.

Clicking the journal seems to pull the overview and the selected items back into the window.

A simple fix, move the drone back underneath the overview for now. As for the moons, sort out a new overview tab 'Scanning' and create a new overview settings save and apply that as the bracket filtering.

Sort your other overview settings out too, not their fault you have gang members not showing in your settings.

Been playing this for about a week now, and loving it

Going to buy a bestower soon to start raking in some money from mining, and just need to level train cruiser before i can buy one of those too

I find it a bit strange that you dont have to earn the skills you just buy and train them? so basically you can get some nice ships pretty early on

Yes but remember you then need skills to use various modules etc for the ship which take longer.
 
I would have thought you'd be better off using something with more high slots and filling the low slots with cargo expanders if the cargo hold wasn't that big.
Coercer makes a good dual role ship that can be fitted out for salvage or mining.
Just lob the rock in the nearest station and come back when the hold is full THEN use bessy to go round once a month picking up everything you station dropped..
