I'm sorry but i just don't get it. We already had an episode about Desmond and his boat and why he went sailing etc. Strange how at that time he didn't even mention the fact that she was his constant also he turns up saying you won't hear from me for 8 years yet he was talking to her just before he went on his sailing trip in 2003 no?

The not speak in 8 years Desmond is not the same Desmond as the 2003 Desmond.

They are parallel Desmond's in different universes (maybe)

If I was drunk, that would confuse the hell out of me :p

My theory is that the numbers that are entered into the computer to discharge the electromagnetic pulse, is something to do with the constant that Daniel mentioned to Desmond. Also if you look at Daniels notes you can see the numbers.

Now when these numbers were entered, the constant reset itself meaning the world would carry on because everyone's consciousness mind would remain in the current time frame. However because these numbered were not entered and the hatch "blew up", the side affects are starting to show because this constant cannot be reset. Hence the reason why Desmond and Minkowski minds are jumping back in time. Now over time more people will feel the side affects meaning that they will die, which will lead to the end of humanity, which is why the Valenzetti Equation predicts the end of humanity.

yea that's a pretty good theory, so many questions left unanswered still

i really want to know what happened to michael and what the craic with walt is...

i think when walt and michael left the island walt suffered the "side effects" like desmond so he's in the future but he's jumping between time, would explain why he is older like, and probably in the future knows all about the island and the secrets, locke could be is constant, the oceanic 6 are is constants?

still need to see the latest episode :P

Ok no strong evidence to back this up, but I'm thinking that Michael is the spy on the boat. We shall find out in next weeks episode (hopefully).

Anyone else notice that at the end of the phone conversation between Penny and Desmond, that Penny said she had talked with his friend 'Charlie'?

Charlie died on the island, but has met up with Penny somehow. Huh? Just like in a previous episode, where Charlie turned up to see Hurley (?) in the mental institution, and he said he wasn't real and that he'd died. So whats going on with Charlie? How is he still up and about when we all saw him drown?

Charlie talked to Penny on the radio/video link in the underwater station at the end of Season 3 before dying :)
Hmm. Yeah. I'd forgotten about that. Even so, what was he doing with Hurley in the mental institution? Was he just a figment of his imagination or, as he said, really there? If he's really there, how did he vanish? Argh, confusing show.

Here is a very interesting read regarding a theory to the Lost series. I have read it and to be honest it is the best theory I have read. (I did a search and I couldn't see it being mentioned before, so apologies if it has)

Very detailed explanations, covering pretty much everything. As far as I can see you will need to have watched all 4 series to truly understand some of the concepts that are being explored and I read it a few weeks ago where it made some predictions to up and coming shows and it's been pretty spot on.

So if you are wanting a good theory, then read this for certain.

Just read that - Its very convincing and it seems definite that there is some form of time machine involved however how can they explain that all in the next 2 seasons?

hmmm, that theory may be true, but it kinda sucks, not very interesting i dont think

maybe its just the fact its all written down makes it too complicated and boring, while watching the show makes it interesting

and yea the last ep was kinda poo compared to others, answered a few more Q's and raised a few more lol

I know in my previous theory that I mentioned time travel, but this theory doesn't make sense and judging on how Lost is going so far, is way to far fetched.

When I realised that the latest episode was about Sun and Jin, I thought it would be naff, but at the end it kinda got interesting. Is lost using both flash forwards and flash backs?

Yeah they have been using the Flash Forwards for quite some time now, I remember ones of Jack that seemed to be flashbacks, but I believe were flash forwards.

I'm sure it was mentioned on that site, but the Flashbacks involving Jack and the Funeral, never explicitly revealed who it was for. Therefore it could actually be the funeral of Ben considering there are only a few survivors.
