two raptors?

I'm looking to get another raptor x 10rpm and then used them in raid 0.

But here is the question if i want to raid them will i have to reformat mine hardrive? i never had raid so i'm clueless

Yes. You will need to create a raid array so your motherboard creates a 'single' hard disk out of the two. The raid controller then splits the data into clusters and spreads the info over both drives which in turn cuts down the seek/read/write time as it is using 2 drives at once.

There is a way around a reformat if you wish to keep your data intact

ive also thought of doing raid with my raptor, its question iv ebeen thinking to ask to, also does it make it any more noiser? having 2 raptors

mh i cant hear my raptor at all so should be no difference if you use two of them same amount of noise i guess

I would just back your data up and do a complete reinstall, will give you the chance to slipstream and slim down the OS too.

i can hear my raptors even when they're in a watercooled sound reducing block
