5live or a cd for me. Can't remember the last time I actually listened to radio1/2.
How anyone can listen to Steve Wright for any length of time amazes me
He is soooooooooo up his own bottom, I cannot stand the man.
Wogan is alright in small doses, loves Ken Bruce and Chris Evans.
Oh and yes, Janet and John is always worth a laugh
What about Wossy on a Saturday, I enjoy listening to him too

I listen to Jeremy Vine on Radio 2. One time they talked about taxis being late. You wouldn't believe the amount of people with rubbish grievances such as this. Then one time they talked about a guy who spent 25 years on death row for a crime he didn't commit. It definitely puts things into perspective.
Radio 1 blows. Chris Moyles is not funny and not worth any of the money he is paid.
Mark and Lard were comedy genius. If I knew Mark was on this week instead of the obnoxious Steve Wright, I would have listened to him.

Wogan can be a bit so-so, but when he's on form (maybe 1 or 2 shows a week) I'm in stitches. When he's good, he's fantastic!
Keb Bruce/Richard Allinson/Johnny Walker etc. are all superb. I don;t mind listening to Jeremy Vine as long as I'm not driving. Steve Wright hasn't been good since his morning show on R1 (about the last time R1 was worth listening too...). Mark Whatsit is ok, prefer it when it's him and Stuart of an evening, but hey, he's better than Wright! Tarbuck is enough of an irritation to change to virgin at 2 tho'.

You do realise that Radio 2 advertises playing the best music from whenever other then Radio 1 playing the latest stuff.
I've read this 5 times and still can't understand?
You don't get The Smiths and Stone Roses on R1, instead you get Akon or something :/

If you read the "other" as a "rather" then it makes slightly more sense in that Radio 2 isn't limited to mainly playing the most recent tracks. Of course I could be way off what Muffin` means but that would be how I read it.

Of all of the FM stations, I probably listen to Classic FM the most
Oh la de da! How very posh!
Whilst I do listen to Classic FM i prefer to hear my classic music live. Thankfully my wife is in the classical music "industry" and we get to go (for free) to lots of recitals. Brilliant.
I can't stand Radio 1 but I hate commercial stations far more - todays best music my arse.
Oh and Jeremy Vines is brilliant.
Ok thanks to Semi pro I kind of get what you're saying now.
But everytime I have flicked to Radio 2 it's some old fart badgering on about **** all. To the point where I just turn Radio 1 on and go back to listening to 'Akon' as it's kinder on the ears
Sarah Cox and all the other silly radio bints do my head in normally though. So you can't win
