3DMark score on E8400 running at 4Ghz

Yes, no fewer than nine small LEDs...
@ Makunouchi - What are you using to OC this card? I find Riva Tuner does not work with it, even though you can increase the core clocks and that, it has no effect.
Can someone do a 06 run with a Q6600 @ 4 ghz please.
Thanks
Certainly likes Crysis

Didnt you have an X2 before the GX2 ?
If so, what are the noise levels like compared to the X2 at idle / load

Has anyone noticed on there GX2 if they do a print screen and paste in 32bit mode, or use Realvnc, you get black bars see the link???
This is very odd, it must be drivers? meh, maybe i need driver cleaner...

Nice score, now try Crysis please![]()
I've found something odd with the GX2... it might be a problem...
With AA turned on, when i get to a certain amount of AA at 2560x1600 res, i hit a massive drop in frame rates, were talking 2 - 3 FPS here, complete slideshow.
For example, i run Portal, run it with 16xCSAA @ 2560x1600 and get high frame rates, i dont know exactly what, but there totally smooth, so lets say 60+ FPS.
Then i run it with 8xMSAA which is higher quality than 16xCSAA but shouldn't have much effect on performance, as they're almost equal, but then i get around 2 - 3 FPS. For reference, doing this with my GTX would have little or no effect.
This happens with other games i've tried too... with COD4 it's 2xAA and above where it happens. With Bioshock it's 4xAA and above.
My theory is that because this card only has 512MB usable for games, it does not have enough memory for 2560x1600 with AA.
This is backed up by that fact that with games with lower res smaller textures i can turn the AA up more before i hit this massive performance decrease, but with games with higher res textures i only have to have AA on 2x or 4x (as higher AA takes up more memory, and obviously higher res textures do too, so when combined it eats up all the memory).
What do you guys think?
I hope i'm wrong and it's a driver thing.
