Midweek Football 26th March *Spoilers* - Internationals

What is James penalty saving record? Whenever I've seen him in an England shirt and theres a penalty he just seems give off waves of body language which say "I'm know I'm not going to save this so I will just pick a random side and half dive/fall over". The impression I get with him is that he appears to be thinking "It's not my fault, goalies are not supposed to be able to save penalties"
 
Snore-fest. Beckham was at least putting some decent passes in, Bentley and Downing have yet to manage one decent pass/cross between them. Owen took fifteen minutes to even touch the ball in any meaningful way and we are still crowding midfield with strikers, defenders - hell I'm waiting to see the mascots come on and make a complete 21-person midfield.
 
Is it me or do these England players not care, very poor, suppose they will be going back to there £3 million mansions and sexy girlfriends.
 
I'm going to cling on to the hope that he has picked the likes of Downing, Beckham, Terry and james just so he can say "See, they ARE rubbish, dont make me pick them again".
 
Just watched it, i want my hour and a half back.

Totally uninspiring. Calamity James strikes again, we lack any sense of 'drive' going forward and generally seemed not to care.

EDIT: Oh and Downing can't cross to save his life. Utter turd.
 
How many of Englands first choice would get into other "top class" International teams?

Yeah, Croatia had the best of the play but we came into the game more in the second half. Croatia didn't look all that dangerous up front. suffering from the loss of Eduardo I guess.

Because they are not all rubbish.

Rooney, Ferdinand, Brown, Carrick and Hargreaves are half of the team currently sitting top of the prem and there by playing damn good football.

Bentley does very well for blackburn, Gerrard does well for Liverpool in the main, and Barry is a solid left mid.

You only need to find a Center back, a left back and a striker to go in there and you have a team that can beat anybody.

Its when the manager mucks around it all goes to pot, picking and setting up a team isnt rocket science.

Simple things, Rooney isnt a Striker, he's a forward he cant play upfront on his own, so why do that to him, give him a strike partner.
You can get away with playing a paceless unfit past it right mid as a wing forward, so why do it?
You cant pick a Goal keeper who ever time you do pick him looses you the game, so why do it?

none, cus they all rubbish.

England are rubbish, but we all know this so its not a problem anymore, and no one really cares about the england team.
