Doing this integration at the moment, the actual integration process can take from 60-120 minutes.....:)
it takes longer then that:eek:.. i been waiting over 120min lol.., also it uses all the ram memory to do it...

i tried with x64 ultimate and vlite failed to intergrate

update:
got it working, had to change the temporary directory to a partition with more free space.

do it when you don't need the pc for a while, feels like an hour long system rape integrating sp1.

^even though i have a proper microsoft sp1 iso, i've tested this because i'm bored. :o

i've only got 32bit and it's installing in vmware at the moment. the iso was created by vlite ok. now to see if it completes setup properly. :p

Was able to stream SP1 into Vista 64 bit Business using vlite, but as yet not tried it vmware.....maybe give that a go tomorrow..:)

trying this at the mo. doing the actual slipstreaming in vmware though (tried vlite around 2 months ago and it caused bsods on loading some driver - no idea if still there but not risking it) and it's taking ages.

Does anybody know when the official integrated SP1 disks are going to be released?

already around I think, I tried this on vista buisness 32bit last night and then installed it on my laptop and im using it now no problems

Update: recommended to wait for beta 2 if you plan on slipstreaming, otherwise it is fine.

Oho, another version. Service Pack Slipstream support. Consider that feature a true beta test.
vLite had a hidden Slipstream page since the service pack betas so this was not so hard to adjust. You can see it by running older vLite with /sptest switch.
However it stopped working on the final SP1 when MS locked it down.
So this version should work again. Try this latest one and let me know of any issues with the Slipstream.
Of course it is always better to either capture or get a preintegrated DVD because MS said that integrating is not recommended before SP2 is out.

Important notes:
- slipstreaming x64 SP from x86 host is not supported, you need x64 host
- make sure that you have at least 4GB free at the partition where your temp folder is located (check in Options)
- be careful with removals after Slipstream. Some reported loop on first logon. Slipstream alone works, it is the removals that has to be checked. Use virtual machines for testing before real install. Checking this.
- SP1 supports only these 5 langauges for now: English (US), French, German, Japanese, or Spanish (Traditional).
- Control Panel - Features blank, fixing.

u mean wait for sp2?

but it works fine with sp1. ive integrated sp1 to 32bit and 64bit of vista and both work perfectly.. :D

I cant seem to get vlite to install, it just stops half way though

Ive tried re-downloading, but it does the same. Help?

If you are a member of Technet plus you can download the integrated ISO file from the internet. If you know someonewhom is a member they can most probably give you a copy. It is a perfectly legal copy and involves no piracy. You can write to MS and request a copy of the integrated version, this is also legal. The current slipstream version that is about has problems with the kernal and has a serail number bug in it. So be very careful.
