Any kudos you get for telling your mates you have a 2.5L V6 goes straight out of the window when you pull up in what looks like their dads car... in a worse colour.
If you drive your car solely to maintain an image to your mates then keep the Focus, although I fail to see how a 5 door Focus is any younger than a Mondeo.
You never had any intention of doing the swap though so I don't know why I'm replying.

tbh I would much rather drive round in a specced out v6 mondeo than a little 1.6 focus which all your friends probably have
