**OcUK Crysis 1680x1050 VERY HIGH Settings Top List**

WOW! how did you get that score with so little overclock!
what are the rest of your spec? using an nVidia motherboard?

BFG 680i SLI motherboard, 4gb corsair dominator something

updated. :)

ajones32, that is one highly suspicious result you have there..... :p

Im just as puzzled as you since my 1280x1024 score was relatively poor compared to similar specs. I honestly don't know why or how I got that FPS.

I just changed a few control panel settings and got...

So something fishy is going on I agree, but what I've no idea :(

Certainly not trying to discredit your attempt Simon (Well it's not your fault, you dont make the hardware!) but 45fps average @ 1680 x 1050 with no AA is not quite what i'de call beating Crysis. Last time i checked everyone was still shouting for 60+ framerates at 1920 x 1200 with 4xAA.

We're still a way off yet, gents! I'l be keeping a very keen eye on this thread with future GPU releases. 3Dmark scores don't mean a great deal to me.

Just done mine with stock GFX settings, not too bad though would have liked over 20FPS, hopefully doable with a small overclock on the gfx card:

By the way whoever pointed out that maxishine video a while ago i think EVERYONE on here should view his videos and various setups and history with benchmarking crysis. He covers from SLI GTX's to quad Gx2's with sli and tri sli ultras inbetween.

am I missing some info that means my score wasn't included? I'd love to have a benchmark of where I am against similar machines :)

rofl two 3870x2 smaller half less fps then one 9800gx2 shows how crysis has no support more then 2 gpus... i guess when we have cpu's quadcores at 7ghz we and cards double of power 9800gx2 we can play it flat out at 100 fps wohoo :D at dx10

Not happy with this for some reason my rigg dont like DX10, all on stock Nvidi setting the moment I try and clock with riva tuner it loads up to 84% and dies on me , also for some reason I cant bench it at 4ghz it does the same.

DX9 settings and riva tuner clocks quite high and have my processor at 4ghz ... I will play again soon .

22inch is most people's display size...... how about 1680x1050 at 4xAA? that way, 8800GTX should still get a sure win.

Nah I want to test the extremes, just turn off your monitor for a few mins if it wont display & the card should handle it anyway. The 9800gx2 is still winning this table so would this even higher res reduce it to tears as other threads in this section suggest

512bit interface test seemed to show a good result imo, stock clocks -
