On topic I say No anyways, Perhaps more racing games could do it.
Or maybe Follow in the first dooms footsteps, And give people access to a full 1st campaign, weren't there like 12 levels or something?

I would agree that the 360 users are more unpredictable as when Halo 3 was released (meant to be our flagship game) many of us were more than happy to say we thought it was pretty pants and in no way deserved the 9/10 10/10 reviews ect.
IMO resistance was equally boring/uninspiring yet the ps3 users were constantly defending it (ps yes I do think rfom2 has potential)
Lastly I would just like to add I am really getting into GT5P now, it is easily my fav ps3 game and I would happily buy it again.

Quoted for truth, joking!! But I dont see how either 'side' is any more predictible than the other if an innocent thread about GT5 gets derailed. If Gran Tursimo was multiplatform I could guarantee the mentions of Live or Forza or whatever it was wouldnt of happened.
Surely it would still be compared to Forza, just like CoD4 is compared to Halo 3?
Yes but lets be honest here Forza vs GT turns into 360 vs PS3.

And no matter which is better, Neither side would let go of what they think is the better game, Usually the game on the console they are bias towards.
I meant it in a different way, I now realise I should have either explained it, or better yet, not mentioned it at all. But for the sake of this argument I'll say what I mean.
Xbox360 fanboys will say their console is superior for 'x', 'y' and 'z' (read: Better ports (fair), Xbox Live Gold (not so fair) and cheaper (so so).
PS3 fanboys however rather than saying their console is superior, will actually say the Xbox360 is inferior for 'x', 'y' and 'z'.
I just meant they're predictable that instead of praising it (besides Blu-Ray, which isn't a gaming feature) actually have digs at the other console (no Wi-Fi/expensive, expensive peripherals, Xbox Live subscription, SD-DVDs, Modular etc..)
One set of fanboys (Xbox360) will say "Get an Xbox360 because" and the others (PS3) will say "Don't get an Xbox360". Just something I've noticed, not much in it, but predictably the topic they always bring it to.
It shouldn't though, especially as Forza 2 is very boring.

games will always be compared to other top games in the respective genre regardless of what platform they are on
I have a 360 and a PS3, I buy most games on the 360 because they are usually better and have achievements. I bought a PS3 mainly for Sony exclusives like Wipeout and GT5 I also have PGR4, Forza 2 and GT5P and my order of preference is GT5P, Forza 2 and PGR4.
To me GT5P is the better game regardless of console.

Any racing fan would put them in that order tbh.
My favourite genre is racing games and I wouldn't.
I'd have PGR3 > TDU > PGR4 > GT5p > Others > Forza 2
I'm sure GT5 will be higher up the list though (plus my GT5p was Japanese, though so was my Gran Turismo (1) and I loved that).
Fair enough. You much more into arcade racers than sims?
